Cheese & Onion Pork Chops

Enjoy British pork with melted Cheshire cheese and a kick of English mustard

Method

Based on 4 servings, adjust as needed.

Step 1

Heat grill to high, then place the pork chops on a grill pan, rub with oil and season. Grill for about 6 mins on each side, until golden.

Step 2

Spread a little mustard over one side of each chop, then top with a spoonful of the onions. Mix the cheese and thyme, sprinkle over the chops, then grill until golden and bubbly.

Step 3

If serving with potatoes and broccoli, boil the potatoes until soft, about 8-10 minutes, adding the tenderstem for the final few minutes of cooking.

  • 4 Pork Chops 2x Sainsbury's British Pork Chops x2 350g
  • 4 tbsp Caramelised Onions, from a jar 1x Tracklements Recipe No. 2 Caramelised Onion Marmalade 210g
  • 50g Cheshire Cheese, grated 1x Sainsbury's White Cheshire Cheese 250g
  • 1 tsp English Mustard 1x Colman's Original English Mustard 170g
  • 2 tsp Olive Oil 1x Sainsbury's Olive Oil 500ml
  • 800g Baby Potatoes, boiled 1x Sainsbury's Baby Potatoes 1kg
  • 200g Tenderstem Broccoli, blanched 1x Sainsbury's Tenderstem Broccoli 200g
  • 1 tsp Thyme, chopped 1x Sainsbury's Bunched Thyme 20g
  • Maldon Salt, to taste 1x Maldon Sea Salt Flakes 250g
