There are so many methods for a fry up that all yield delicious results, you can even do the entire thing in the oven. Whether your favourite is fried eggs, scrambled, poached or boiled, you'd prefer hash browns to mushrooms or tomatoes on the vine, make this fry up your own. Name a better way to start your day 🍳 We used a 30cm frying pan for 2 portions and a 20cm pan for 1, if cooking for more please adjust your pan size as needed.
Based on 4 servings, adjust as needed.
Get a heavy based wide frying pan on a medium-high heat. We’ve used a 30cm pan for two people, if cooking for more, use a larger pan. Once hot, add the oil and the sausages and cook for 5 minutes until golden then add the sliced mushrooms. Cook for 6-8 minutes until lightly golden all over, then remove from the pan. Add in the bacon and tomatoes. Flip the bacon after for 3 minutes and keep the tomatoes moving to colour them on all sides. Add the sausages and mushrooms back into the pan.
Once the bacon is almost done, push everything to the sides and crack the eggs. Cook to your liking and don't forget to season the yolks with salt and pepper. If serving with baked beans heat these now either in a saucepan or in the microwave.
Crack some black pepper over everything and enjoy with buttered toast and a cup of tea.
