Our mission is to help everyone eat better effortlessly so we were fortunate to find a partner who has the same view of the world. Moving Mountains focuses on the three pillars of taste, environment, and health and is aiming to bring real change to people’s everyday diet by providing a plant-based alternative that is genuinely competitive to animal meat. This BBQ Cheese Burger is a proper classic (with a meat-free twist!). We advise you to pile it high with all the optional condiments plus extra pickles! Totally scrummy and just perfect for those warm summer days. No BBQ? (or it's raining ☔️) , not a problem. Simply follow the instructions on the Moving Mountains packaging and cook as you usually would. 👋 Order double the Moving Mountain burger patties if you fancy double stacking, as per the picure in this recipe 🍔
Based on 4 servings, adjust as needed.
Once your BBQ is ready (or your preheated oven, if cooking the burgers as per the packet instructions), cook the Moving Mountains burgers. Oil each burger generously and place on the grill. Flip the burgers every 2-3 minutes and cook for about 10 minutes (this may vary depending on how hot your coals are).
When the burgers are nearly cooked, top each with a few slices of vegan cheese and let it melt. Then toast your halved bread buns.
Next, assemble the burgers! Start by spreading the vegan mayo over the bottom half of the bun, then add the lettuce, cheeseburgers, tomato slices, onion slices and pickles.
Finally, top your burgers with your condiments (ketchup, mustard or both!), add your top burger bun and enjoy! Don't forget a bag of tortilla chips and smoky salsa on the side (if using).
